This is a newly renovated grade II listed building which has been a huge project of Heritage Lincolnshire’s for the past 5 years! The project is now drawing to a close as the building has been restored to its former glory, now incorporating a cafe, B & B and visitor centre. Could you be the first to explore the Old Kings Head? I would like to thank Dr Ian Marsham for an amazing walk on Saturday morning 5th Oct around Croyland (old spelling). It was very informative and well organised. Well done. I am looking forward to this Saturday’s walk in Market Deeping.

House and garden tour and walk 5 on launch day 28/9 from Grantham House. Very enjoyable day.
Walk 11 around Belvoir and the Grantham canal. Lovely walk ending at the Mucky Duck pub.
I really enjoy the walks on the SLWF as it give me the opportunity to walk in different places. I think it would be a good idea if you made a small charge of say £1 per person for each walk to ensure you generate some income from the festival. It would be such a shame if you are not able to hold the festival because of lack of funds.

I really enjoyed the walk from Dowsby, Lincolnshire’s Ancient Coastline, and thank you to the organisers.
However, the brochure listing said 9.30 am, 3 hours. On arrival, the walk was not leaving until 10am, and the proposed scedule for the walk was to include a (very interesting) talk at Sempringham Church and a pub lunch (optional) to return to the start at 3pm.
Some people left before the start of the walk as they had afternoon commitments. The walk finished about 2pm, no pub lunches were wanted.
I feel the walk should have more accurately reflected the brochure in terms of timing and expectations.
